When awarded credit for this unit, a learner will: 

Assessment Criteria

Assessment of this learning outcome will require a learner to demonstrate that they can: 
1. Understand the external environment of an organisation.  1.1.  Describe the scope and role of innovation management in the workplace.  1.2.  Categorize the requirements of innovation management in the workplace. 1.3.  Demonstrate the characteristics of the external environment that affect an organization. 
2. Be able to implement innovative models in in workplace.  

2.1. Distinguish between different levels of innovation in the workplace.

2.2.  Create an implementation plan that meets the brief and addresses the issues identified in the external environment.

2.3. Implement the plan within budget and timescale. 
3. Be able to create innovative process models in the workplace in accordance with organisational standards. 

3.1.  Apply creative and innovative process models in the workplace in accordance with organizational standards and procedures.

3.2 Describe the effectiveness of the implementation of an innovative solution.
